Vice president Joe Biden, known recently for his frequent gaffes and misstatements, won’t be doing any talking for a few days.
That’s because the former Delaware senator has come down with laryngitis.
Doctors say Biden will probably be able to speak again, well enough to give quotes, in about two weeks. The Obama Administration insists that’s a premature estimate and has asked Biden to rest his voice by saying nothing to any reporters for the rest of 2009.
Biden recently was criticized for suggesting Americans should avoid all airplanes and trains in light of the Swine Flu Virus that’s in Mexico.
